1. Hacking, glitching, exploiting, and any other form of cheating that can be used for gaining an unfair advantage over other players is NOT allowed in any way. Players that we believe to be cheating in any way will be permanently banned. No exceptions.
   
   
2. Arguments are not allowed in the servers no matter who starts it or who is involved.
   
   
3. "Bad" language is allowed to the extent that you do not make other players uncomfortable. Saying 'fuck', 'shit', etc. is allowed as long as you're not calling out another player to argue or calling out |F:S| members or the clan as a whole. We play games rated for people aged 17 and up, therefore we allow language that is not meant for children. However, there are limits to what can be said.
   
   
4. Racism and Political bashing are NOT allowed on our game servers or in our Ventrilo server. Players will be warned and banned if non-compliant.
   
   
5. Recruiting on our servers is NOT allowed. Clans who use our servers to recruit will be banned from playing. No exceptions. |F:S| servers can only be used by |F:S| members to recruit new members.
   
   
6. Leaders and Admins will determine an individual's punishment based of the severity of the offense. Our goal is to keep our servers a friendly environment while, at the same time, limiting the rules and controls so that the most people enjoy our servers as a friendly, open place to play.

1. |F:S| is a friendly gaming clan. We're here to have fun and play games. Leaders and Admins are here to combine their gaming knowledge and use their best discretion to keep this environment fun, fair, and open.
   
   
2. |F:S| depends closely on all its members to make suggestions and to vote on changes in the clan. In this way we can most closely cater to ALL our members and keep the clan a fun place to hang out and play games.
   
   
3. Decisions about recruitment, membership, our servers and the clan in general must be discussed by the Leaders before they become final.
   
   
4. We're always open to the idea of starting up in new games and encourage all members and recruits to openly suggest anything they want to see happen with |F:S|.
   
   
5. Prolonged fights and arguments among clan members or recruits will not be tolerated.
   
   
6. Everyone is expected to follow these rules with extremely rare exceptions.

1. You are recruits and |F:S| reserves the right to expel you at any time, with or without warnings, depending on the situation.
   
   
2. The recruitment process will last a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks.
   
   
3. You are required to use ventrilo. Chatting and playing games on ventrilo is the main part of |F:S|. This is how we get to know you and it also makes playing games and hanging out a lot more entertaining. |F:S| is somewhat of a social group and not being social defeats the purpose of being in a clan.
   
   
4. Have Fun, It’s only a game.
   
   
5. Take the advice of senior members (their word is very helpful).
   
   
6. You cannot buy your way into the clan or a position in the clan. Period. Donations from recruits will, at MOST, shorten your recruitment period to the minimum of 2 weeks stated earlier.
   
   
7. All recruits will be checked via PBBans Master Player Index. If questionable information if found you will be questioned and we will review it to determine whether or not you can join |F:S|. If you have previous bans by PunkBuster for hacking then you will be asked to leave and your ties to us will be cut. This is a zero tolerance policy. We absolutely do NOT condone any hacking.

1. Have legal versions of at least some of the games we play. At this stage we currently play Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War and Left 4 Dead.
   
   
2. Have Ventrilo and a headset with a mic. Coming into Ventrilo often is a lot of fun and very helpful to keep track of who wants to be in/stay in |F:S|.
   
   
3. Be an active member. Post in the forum, use ventrilo, and check in 2-3 times as week if possible
   
   
4. All members must be over 16 years of age and be relatively mature.
   
   
5. All members must have the tag |F:S| or |F:Sr| for recruits. No variations of this tag are allowed. (Note that in World At War you’re required to have brackets instead of pipes)
   
   
6. Financial contribution to |F:S| is encouraged and appreciated, but not compulsory. However, contributing members will get preference for private slots or promotions but it is not guaranteed.
   
   
7. Attendance at clan meetings is compulsory, except when a valid excuse is given prior to the meeting (if possible). Attending clan meetings will most likely give you immunity from purging of old/inactive members and recruits.

1. Hacking and cheating in any way, shape or form is banned. Those caught doing so will be removed from the clan swiftly. Glitching purposefully to gain an advantage in a game is also punishable.
   
   
2. Inappropriate public behavior. Acting like an idiot with our tag on makes the rest of us look bad.
   
   
3. Inappropriate private/squad behavior. Continued fights among members and recruits will not be tolerated. From this point on, fights will be dealt with swiftly; resulting in expulsion of both/all sides or members who contributed to the argument.
   
   
4. Some examples of inappropriate behavior are but not limited to;
   
   1. Being disrespectful to another player. General sledging to other |F:S| members are ok as a joke and within reason. But continued bashing of |F:S| members will results in expulsion from the clan.
      
   2. Racist remarks to anyone inside or outside the clan will result in expulsion.
      
   3. Continued arguments with pubbers in our servers will results in swift punishment to be decided on at the time.
      
   4. Threatening pubbers with punishment should be done rarely and only by admins and leaders.

As this clan is a gaming community, individuals should shy away from political and religious discussions when using the many services of |F:S|. By this I mean that it is best if everyone kept their religious and political views to themselves while in our servers, chatting on ventrilo, or posting on the website. People can be and usually are very picky and it doesn't take a large group of people to find one person who disagrees with your personal beliefs.

So we're asking that politics and religion not be brought up in general conversation on Ventrilo, our website, or any of our servers as it can quickly lead to arguments and cause problems within the clan.

I can not stress enough that this is NOT an attempt to control or restrict anyone or any given belief or faith. This is simply a guideline to prevent arguments and fights within that clan or with the public that could jeopardize the cohesion and unity of |F:S| as an online community.

The Leaders and Admins retain the right to kick, temp ban, and suspend members and recruits for being extremely argumentative, for making personal attacks both religious and political to a given person or that person's beliefs, and for not heeding admins and leaders if an indecent does occur.

This should not affect anyone directly. This was added as a preventative measure. If you have any comments or questions, PM me or the other Leaders.

1. No posting of illegal materials (torrents and other illegal downloads) or porn on the website.
   
   
2. Recruiting by other clans in our servers is NOT allowed. Those who do try to recruit in our server will be banned.
