We in |F:S| focus mainly on having fun together while playing games. This is why ventrilo is a requirement. Talking, giving out gaming tips, supporting each other when technical problems occur, taunting others when you're on a kill-streak, or just hanging out and taking a break; ventrilo voice chat is a key part of most of what we do.

If you're coming to us with your mind set on having fun while you're playing with friends, then you will find |F:S| is the place to be!

When you register for the website, be sure NOT to put any tags in front of your name.

Once you have filled out a recruitment application, a Clan Leader will reply to your app via the email address you specified. If you are accepted, then you will be told to register on our forums if you haven't done so already. You will also add the tags |F:Sr| to your name. NOTE that in World at War it adds brackets for you so all you need to enter is "F:Sr" and your tags will look like [F:Sr] in World at War.

If you have NOT filled out an application but you have already registered on the site, then your registration will require clan leader approval before activation. Check you emails for a response within 24 hours of registration! If you plan on being a recruit, filling out an application first will speed the process.

Here is the list of requirements to be accepted as a recruit:

• You must be invited into the clan by an existing member.
• You must be atleast 18 or older and mature.
• You must live in the United States or Canada.
• You must have a headset with a mic to use in Ventrilo.
• You must be an active participant.

The amount of time you spend as a recruit is determined by activity and friendliness. There are no set time restraints. Once you've been accepted into recruitment you will be added to the Recruits usergroup on the site. It is at that point your recruitment will begin.

Now I'm going to describe what programs and games we use and why. We play alot of Call of Duty: World at War and Battlefield Bad Company 2. However we are not strictly limited to these games. Many of us play a large range of video games including previous versions of Call of Duty along with many Valve and Battlefield games.

Xfire is a text-based Instant-Messaging program that lets you send instant messages while in any game. Just about all of us use xfire to keep in touch while playing. You can find more information and the download for Xfire HERE

Ventrilo is program provides us with the ability to talk to each other through headsets while in game. It's good for just hanging out, playing intense games with your friends, and everything in-between. You can find more information and the download for Ventrilo HERE.
I made a video tutorial on how to set up Ventrilo on your computer to access our server easily and configure your controls and settings.

Be sure to keep in contact with us so you know what's up! It is not a requirement to use Xfire or Steam. However, it is a requirement that you use ventrilo! The main part of |F:S| is getting in ventrilo and chatting while playing games. It's the biggest part of |F:S| and is alot of fun.
